Building on the successful wellness program at Bigfork Valley Hospital, the hospital has announced the launch of My ROI: Invest in your health™, a wellness program tailored to the corporate workplace.

Companies have found that a healthier workforce is a good investment. Industry-wide, estimates place at least a $3 return on each $1 invested in a wellness program. Wellness programs can also help control chronic health care costs, increase morale and reduce absenteeism. The name "My ROI: Invest in your health" highlights this positive aspect of a good wellness program; that improvement in overall company workforce wellness provides a return on investment (ROI) financially as well as personally.

"The Bigfork Valley Wellness Program was instrumental in helping us keep our health insurance premiums from increasing over the last four years," pointed out Dan Odegaard, CEO. The program has attracted 100 percent participation among insured staff.

My ROI provides an onsite wellness program that addresses stress management, healthy eating, fitness and tobacco cessation. A full service program is available, as well as custom programs, consulting services to develop successful in-house programs and some individual services.

"We believe we have a unique, quality product to offer companies looking for a wellness program," said Brian Rauzi, Executive Director of Operations. "Because it has been developed in a hospital environment, it is outcome-based, confidential and realistic. And we try to make Wellness fun, as well."

Program management also includes Karissa Bouchie, LD, RD, CDE, Executive Director, Wellness and Jennifer Drotts, Executive Director, Benefits Administration. More information is available at www.myroi-wellness.com or by calling My ROI at 218-743-MROI (6764).
