Kari Johansen joins Bigfork Valley Clinics
Bigfork Valley Clinics welcome Kari Johansen, new physician assistant for the Balsam and Marcell locations.
Johansen holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center. During this program she had wide exposure to a variety of specialties, including rotations in family medicine; internal medicine; OB/GYN; ear, nose and throat; and emergency medicine.
She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.Johansen will offer general family medical care including physical exams, MnDOT physicals, sports physicals and preoperative exams. She also will offer wound care, suturing, splinting, lesion removal, tender point injections and immunizations.

Starting Monday, November 1 Johansen will see patients at the Bigfork Valley clinics in Balsam and Marcell from Monday-Thursday, and at the Scenic Rivers Health Services clinic in Bigfork on Friday.
